Connect my Microsoft Calendar
Tickr can overlay your Microsoft 365 events on the Tracker’s calendar view and let you import any individual event as a Tickr entry with one click. The sync is one-way (Microsoft → Tickr) and manual (nothing is imported automatically).
Connect
Section titled “Connect”- Open your Profile and scroll down to the Calendar section. (You can also go through Integrations and click Set up on my profile — both lead to the same place.)
- Click Connect my Microsoft Calendar.
- Sign in to your Microsoft account and accept the requested permissions
(
Calendars.Read,offline_access). - You are redirected back to Tickr — your card now shows the connected account.
See my events on the Tracker
Section titled “See my events on the Tracker”- Go to Tracker and switch to the calendar view (week or day).
- In the toolbar, enable External calendar.
- Your events appear greyed out on top of your Tickr entries.
Import an event
Section titled “Import an event”- Click an event from your external calendar (or right-click it).
- Choose Import this entry from the context menu.
- The import dialog opens, pre-filled with the subject and times. Pick a project (the list is already open on focus to ease keyboard navigation), optionally a tag, and check Billable if needed.
- Click Import (or press Enter).
The entry is created in your current workspace. To import the same event into another workspace, switch workspaces in the selector and click the event again.
What is hidden
Section titled “What is hidden”Tickr filters two event types by default to avoid cluttering the view:
- All-day events (holidays, birthdays);
- Events you have declined.
An indicator at the top of the view tells you how many events are hidden.
Choose which calendars are displayed
Section titled “Choose which calendars are displayed”If you have multiple Microsoft calendars (personal, shared, team), only the primary calendar is displayed by default. To include others:
- Profile → Calendar section.
- Click Displayed calendars.
- Check the calendars to include and click Save.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”From Profile → Calendar section, click Disconnect. Tickr will no longer have access to your calendar from that moment on. This does not revoke the permission on the Microsoft side — to fully revoke access, go to https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access.
Tickr entries already imported are not affected by disconnecting.
