Tags

Tags are free-form labels you attach to time entries to slice across projects (#meeting, #support, #internal…). They are shared within the workspace: everyone sees and reuses the same tags.

Open Tags in the navigation. The page offers two layouts, via the toggle at the top:

  • Chips — a grid of coloured labels, with the most-used ones surfaced at the top (Most used).
  • List — a table showing, for each tag, its usage (number of entries carrying it), its last use and its creation date.

You can sort by Usage, A→Z or Recent, and filter with the search box.

  1. Click New tag.
  2. Type the name and press Enter (or click Add).

Tag names are unique per workspace and case-insensitive (Support and support are the same tag). Trying to create a duplicate shows “This tag name already exists”.

In the List view, open a row’s (⋯) menu and choose Rename (or click the name to edit it in place). The rename applies everywhere: every entry carrying the tag immediately shows the new name — there is a single tag object behind it.

Renaming to a name that is already taken is rejected (same uniqueness rule as creation).

From a row’s (⋯) menu, Delete. A confirmation tells you how many entries carry the tag. Deletion removes the tag from those entriesthe entries themselves are not deleted, only the link disappears.

A never-used tag carries the never used badge and can be deleted with no impact.

Any authenticated member of the workspace can create, rename and delete tags — there is no role restriction. Since tags are shared, keep in mind that a rename or deletion is visible to the whole team.
